When your are designing for a vehicle window keep a few things in mind. Use contrasting colors just as if you were designing for a normal window. Windows in general (even non tinted windows) appear dark when viewed from the outside of the vehicle. This means you need to stick with light colors. Vehicle Windows that are tinted you must use light colors. You can apply vehicle window lettering to the inside of the window but we don't recommend it. There are a few issues, if your window is tinted you won't see the lettering. If it is on a window that rolls up and down the lettering may interfere with the window motor. The safest place to put vehicle window lettering is on the outside in non moving sections of the window. For vehicle window letters that are on the back glass use caution when you use your rear window wiper as it could lift the letter in certain conditions.
