Vinyl Lettering Installation

All pre-spaced, self adhesive vinyl letters have a wax coated backing paper attached to the letters after the adhesive has been applied. This backing paper is to not only assist in the installation of your vinyl lettering, but helps protect the vinyl adhesive during shipping and prior to the install.

As you are hanging the letters on your intended surface, you will remove the wax backing paper from the lettering allowing the adhesive to attach to the surface. The wax coating helps to allow the vinyl letters and the adhesive to separate from the backing paper more easily ensuring that the vinyl adhesive will not transfer to the backing paper during its removal.
